Travel Information Prices are fixed for train and bus rides. Riksha or cab/taxi fares should be negotiated prior to commencement of the journey In addition to the travel options mentioned below, a cab ride can be arranged for the entire trip from the airport to Golden Coconut Cabanas. In March 2013 the new international airport HRI opened its doors. Starting from there it is recommended to travel by cab to the resort.

Take the train from Colombo HBF to Matara (duration approx. 4.5h) Continue by bus from Matara to Ranna (duration approx. 1-1.5h)	Take the bus from Ella (Badulla) to Ranna (duration approx. 3.5h)
In Ranna, take a Riksha to Golden Coconut Cabanas (approx. 15min)
